When walking through a temperate grassland, expect to see grass as far as the eye can see, practically blending into the sky. If it is winter, the grassland would look dull and baron, the grass pretty much straw, but if it was during spring, the grassland would be covered in brightly colored flowers. You might see some animals such as praire dogs and, if they were far enough away and unaware of your prescence, some wolves and deer. Maybe even a bison or two.
